I recently completed a 13-week DIY tour, a lifechanging experience for several reasons.

In my travels, I met a Honduran single mother with a three-year-old girl.

The girl's father has already been deported.

The girl's mother fears the DHS separating her from her daughter.

Her own aunt was deported.

Instead of being allowed to return to Honduras with their mother, her cousins were sent into the US foster-care system.
